How Long Since You Saw One Of These?

I'm a curious sort of chap - I mean apart from the constant worrying at the German language and the very odd syntactical tics that I now have in both languages.  I'm always on the lookout for anything that makes me think "Eh?" or even the German "Hä?"

And so I blip a ringpull from a can that must have been from the 80s/90s.  Carelessly chucked away - as was so much in the 80s/90s

I shan't dwell on how cruel fate was to have separated me from my first love because she decided she loved the boy from Glasgow who could borrow his dad's car. I was chucked for a Vauxhall Cavalier....

It's not that tragic in hindsight.  I think even at 17 I knew that was pretty shallow, although I'm pretty sure I did some first-rate teenage sulking about it.
