The Old Harbour

We had a great day in Southwold and Walberswick. Everything you could want at the seaside - lovely sandy beach, old fashioned pier, colourful beach huts, buckets and spades, ice creams, lighthouses, bunting, grockle shops, crab fishing, rowing boat ferry trips, tumbledown fishing huts and boats, shacks selling fresh caught fish, huge skies with beautiful fluffy clouds.
Just lovely.
And, of course, tired children (5am a new record for Miss L!!), nail bitingly dangerous crab fishing with two little girls competing to see who could scare Mummy and Daddy the most and get the crossest when we tried to stop them falling head first into the harbour, refusals to get into/out of rowing boats, screaming hungry, screaming thirsty, embarrassing accidents in the Adnams Brewery cafe.....
But on balance a lovely day.
And no rain, woohoo!!!!
