Truly Blippin' Marvelous

Fire tender

I finally was up and dressed early enough (07:00 sunrise) to go for a solo snap-fest at Ocote trail.  All the times I've gone up there to explore before has been in the late afternoon.   I was rewarded with the sight of antelope.  As a general rule, when viewing wildlife, you are too close if animals change their behaviour.  Two hundred yards was too close for these antelope (extra) and I didn't leave the truck.

When running an errand in town I saw the local firefighters cleaning up after a grass-fire exercise which they shut down when it got too windy.
