D54

D54 as you can imagine is a close neighbor of D53. Both are set in an exceedingly beautiful landscape (the capture doesnt't do it any justice...) . It is not difficult at all to see the folks gathering and combining their energies to build these things 5000 years ago. I find it a really enchanting and captivating site...

... And I had to wait at least 10 minutes before I could make the photo. On this sunny Sunday, the site was crowded with kids, parents and grandparents crawling all over the hunebed....
