Cuba day nine - Jibacoa

We're back at the beach for a couple of days, but the weather has taken a turn. It's still very warm, but also very windy and wet. The sea is way too choppy for snorkelling or even swimming, hence the red flag at the beach. So we've been reading, playing pool and generally just lounging about!

It's about 10 °C warmer in Cuba than the average for this time of year (we'd packed jumpers, expecting the evenings to be cool, but they've never even come out of the suitcases!), caused by El Niño, but that's made it wetter than average too. But not to worry, I can cope sitting at the beach bar, drinking cocktails and watching the waves crashing, all day long!
