Cuba day eight - Viñales

It was an early start this morning, as we had a guided walked booked for 8am, through the Viñales valley. It started off low level, but soon we started climbing higher for some amazing views. It was hard going in the humid heat - I've never sweat so much in my life! But worth it to see some of the views and visit some otherwise inaccessible places. We visited a hill farmer, who basically lived in the middle of nowhere on his own, then a tobacco farm, where we were given fresh pineapple (which was the best thing ever after all that walking in the heat!), shown the cigar making process and given and some cigars. 4 hours and 8 km later we were back in town for a final wander around. Then it was back in a taxi (thankfully a modern air conditioned one this time!) for the long drive back to Jibacoa.
