Toot toot! A day of firsts

A nice day today. Dropped P at school and then we went to playgroup. A made me a lovely Mother's Day card and on it he drew his first ever circle. He showed me what he had done and was very proud.

We came home and had some lunch. We messed about in the playroom, read some books and watched some CBeebies before walking to get P. A fell asleep on the way there and was still asleep when we stopped at the park on the way home. P then managed to get all the way across the wibbly wobbly climbing frame on her own for the first ever time. She used to panic and jump off but today she went straight across with no fuss. Great stuff!

When we got home P went to play in the garden (despite it being freezing) and A asked for his nappy to be taken off. We have been very casually introducing the potty and most evenings are nappy free. When I was cooking tea, A ran into the kitchen saying "wee wee", but it was too late. After I had stripped him down he still asked to sit on the potty . He then did his first ever wee on the potty! Yay! And to celebrate, he did his first ever proper two feet in the air jump, whilst shouting "cluck cluck cockadoodle doooo!"

We FaceTimed Mr J to share all the good news but his data ran out! D'oh!
