Mono Monday Leap

On this last day of February for the next 4 years the theme is Leap with MrsLinda.  

When you live in a climate that has about 6 months of winter, you notice the subtle changes as you Leap from one season to the next.  As we approach late winter/early spring, the changes are apparent.  The snow is gone and the shadows are different, the sun's traverse across the sky is higher now.  The birds are courting their mates and nest building will soon begin here.  The unpaved roads are muddy and the smell of fresh earth is in the air.  That doesn't mean we can't have a blizzard before spring actually settles in for good, but at least we know it won't last as the sun is closer and warmer.
