Starting Bright

5.4C starting bright then clouding over with sleety showers through the afternoon. Light Westerly breeze increasing to moderate West North Westerly breeze.

This morning I sorted out the last of the boxes of books up in the loft. I have the boxes of books and our boxes of photo albums lined up tidily at one side of the floored area of the loft. So thats the loft more or less ready to be emptied a couple of days before the move. Just a last few things to make decisions on.

Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch. Runrig on the Nano (Everything You See). We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The track was a little muddy. As we were walking down the hill a shower came on.

We walked along the cycle path to Westhaven. The shower had turned sleety and had become heavy. I decided to turn up the road to the shore road to go home. When we got in I towelled Maeve dry. We haven't been caught out by such a heavy shower for a while.
