Budding tulips

I am back to practising my macro pics, you may remember the daffodils. I want to try and get the technique right before the summer and for me doing it indoors is helpful and more comfortable. I think I am beginning to get some good results, though you must be the judge of that. I have posted two efforts here.

I think this is the first time in my life I have bought flowers for my own house. I have bought flowers for others many times but I saw thesetulips a few weeks ago and took a quick blip in my iPhone. I wanted to get up close and so I bought myself flowers.

As the tulips open I hope to capture more intricate shots, so you may get these tulips for a couple of days!
