I went for a walk this morning, mainly to test out my new Salomon walking boots.

I ventured into the Havannah Nature reserve where I saw a fallow deer, unfortunately only having a 50 mm lens it was just too far away to get a decent photo.

I also saw a Bullfinch, I haven't seen one of those for years and there were Herons too, this Nature Reserve is technically in it's infancy but the diversity of wildlife is amazing.

After the heavy rain most of the footpaths are under waterbut my new boots were great.

This blip is taken just outside the reserve, the fields are all very lush after the rains.
