Glorious Sunday in Reykjavík

We spent the night at my brother Jóhann's house and after breakfast we decided to play tourists in our own country and go look at the city center with their eyes.

We parked the car in Hverfisgata and then walked Laugavegurinn down to the city center. Jóhann and Arna, his girlfriend, joined us and we had a lovely time window shopping, drinking coffee, watching people and buildings and making fun of silly things. Like these sun loungers in Ingólfstorg - when will they ever be used?

But lets try them anyway...

(since this is a backblip I can add the great news those loungers have probably been used a lot since this Sunday in June. The weather has been awesome the last few weeks!)

In the afternoon we enjoyed great company and superb refreshments at my in-laws. Really nice and a great ending to a perfect day :)
