Breaking the Rules

I know this breaks all the rules.
I understand about only taking photographs of flowers using a plain background but hey if we didn't break the rules sometimes we never would make any progress ( and l think that can be true of many things)
The blinds in my conservatory always inspire me to photograh a tulip that mimics them.
I would have liked this bloom a little more open and a little more of the parrot variety but it's snowing and l' m having fun!
