Schokbeton

I was lucky enough to be invited to a one time only visit to the closed factory of former Schokbeton - a company that made ultra dense prefab concrete facade panels by a patented 'shocking table' process.

The glass wall of the shocking table hall should be an architectural monument because of the architectural light fall, but will probably be torn down in the near future as the last owner went bankrupt last year.

I made this Devine light photo as my personal homage to honor this monumental industrial glass window architecture, and also to my late father who once was the managing director of this renowned company.

Thanks for visiting my journal today!
