Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Territory

The Lapwings are back on territory at Glovershaw: 42 in the pasture there along with 30 Greylag, a couple of Canada Geese and a Curlew.

At Weecher, 11 Oystercatchers were peeping, along with a further 70+ Lapwing, 4 Curlew and a Red Kite.

On the moor, I heard my first Skylark of the year and found one Reed Bunting, still in winter plumage.
