Reprise

First butterfly of 2016: this Small Tortoiseshell, Hallcliffe Community Garden, March 7th.

It's looking quite fresh considering its been overwintering, although its only 75 days since my last of 2015, once again,  a Small Tortoiseshell in the community garden.

For comparison, my (equal) first butterfly of 2015 was, you guessed it: Small Tortoiseshell, Hallcliffe Community Garden, March 7th.
