Now that's what I call ....

.... a climbing frame!

A day off today so we went up to Moseley Old Hall in the sunshine.  Possibly not the best light for photography but great to feel the warmth of the sun.  The National Trust have built a tree house/climbing frame in the woods to celebrate the visit of Charles 2nd who hid in a tree for two days after the battle of Worcester before arriving at Moseley and being hidden by the family for a day or so.  The tour guide was excellent and really made the story of the place and the difficult daily lives of the people in the 1600s come alive.

The extra is a view of the knot garden,  intended to be seen from an upstairs window, but I quite liked the way the sunlight skips across the top of the box hedges.
