Airport Hustle

I have not been to the airport as many times this season as fewer friends came to Zihuatanejo this year. I was there today, however, to pick up one of the condo owners for whom we act as managers. I always take something to read, but invariably get sucked into watching visitors exiting immigration and customs. Five years ago the timeshare salespeople formed a gauntlet that was hard to navigate, but these days things are much more civilized. There are only a couple of salesmen and they are very low key (and well hidden behind the frosted glass screen in front of the exit doors). It does not mean the vacationers are in any less of a hurry though, they hustle (as is visible here) down the polished floor to the waiting taxis with barely a glance at those patiently waiting for their pickups to emerge from behind the screen.
