Mill Arm Lift Bridge

Today the walking group went along lanes and Montgomery Canal towpath around the Maesbury area. It was cold but sunny which was perfect for walking. This is the Mill Arm Lift Bridge which has been restored by the local narrowboat maker/repairer who has his yard close by.

On the walk I saw a number plate from a last year's car, a pair of walking boots and a woollen cap on a post (but not in the same place). If you see someone with stocking feet, and one number plate driving round looking for his lost cap - tell them to look round Maesbury!!
