Hunger

10th March 2016:

There two young ladies have come from school today to do some learning, study and quiet reading in our Centre for Learning in our pump factory building.
They are seen here with teacher Prominence, who has been qualifies as a Primary school teacher for two years now and who like her 20000 colleagues have not been employed by the department of Education, because the Government have no funds.
We have just employed her to help out many of our now, 83 girls who we are enabling to the up their places in secondary school.
Malawi, at the moment is in the middle of a severe faming, although no one is admitting it.
These two little ones at best have one meal each day and often less. Her they are seen with two little bags of maize flour which might get heir family through the night.
It makes me cry to think of all the money that was stolen from government coffers over the past few years, maybe a full year's budget or more in a scandal called Cashgate, where the investigation is still ongoing and why foreign powers have withdrawn funding, pending a resolution and repayment!!!! to the exchequer. So dream on while many starve
