At long last .....

.... I have seen my first lambs and this wee one is not very old. His body has yet to fill his skin but he should soon fill out after some good feeds from mum.

L and I were driving through to Linlithgow when I spotted some ewes and lambs in a field. I was determined to photograph one so we found a lay-by, parked the car and walked back to the field, in rather drizzly rain. The lambs weren't particularly close to the fence so the focus is not as sharp as I would like ... but I think this is the first lamb I have blipped in nearly 3 years of posting a daily photo.
