Calling all to worship

This very old bell stands at the side of the church in Aberfoyle (extra). I couldn't find any plaque or engraving but I presume it was used in bygone days to summon the faithful to worship on the Sabbath Day.  No clanger inside so it will be forever silent now.

Togbe is back home now so no late evening walk for me tonight. I'll miss the wee guy and his cheeky wee face.
