Six more for the Queen's 90th

No this wasn't taken in 1926, some of the clothes and the cars in the background give it away, but otherwise I thought it might well have been so I gave it a bit of sepia treatment.
The hardworking 'gang' who work to keep our village beautiful, and usually get us among the prizes, were out in the park planting six trees this morning, part of the village commemorations for the Queen's 90th birthday.
There's a Romanian saying which gives a short list of things you must do before you die. "You must plant a tree" (sădit un pom) is one of them. So Petronela was out there and planted two (they are some kind of fancy silver birch). Unfortunately she'd left by the time I got out there with a camera but we can enjoy the trees in the future from our window.
