Fordson Major has done its dash

My father was once the proud owner of a brand new Fordson Major tractor. He ploughed and disced and harrowed the fields ready to plant tobacco. After the harvest he rotary hoed in the stalks. It saved him time and money. This isn't the same tractor but very like it except the paint has all gone and the salt air has turned it rusty. The big tyres are flat and the weeds have grown up through the engine.
Made me quite nostalgic.

For Derelict Sunday. Thanks rainie.
