Ca bouge !

Better on a black background.

Backblipping after a late night. Local Occitan rock band Goulamas'K put on a concert in the village hall, along with two other bands. Les Sax Peace Tools (geddit? If not, say it quickly with a French accent and groan) was a duo of duelling saxophonists with a drummer. They were followed by a time-warp interlude: Les Inoucents were pogoing punks straight out of 1977, although they weren't even born at the time ( their parents were probably toddlers then). They were nearly impossible to take photos of as their bounding energy made them a permanent blur of movement, like the Energizer bunny. A little of them went a long way; it was a relief when they stopped.

Goulamas'K are more mature, but they are also a bundle of energy; they always look as if they're having the time of their lives, and it's infectious -- everyone on the dance floor. Extras: there's a Flickr album here.
