South Queensferry sea glass

Here is some of the sea glass that we collected yesterday morning on  the shoreline at South Queensferry.

I was worried that there might have been some sore heads in our house this morning, but all was fine and soon after breakfast the board for Settlers of Catan was back out on the kitchen table. Guess who won (again)? Not that I am competitive or anything...

The Foxes set off home after a lunch of leftovers, then Mr hazelh settled down on the sofa for an hour's rest until the arrival of our next set of visitors(!)

Our new guests were the man who did the work on our bathroom earlier this week and his son, who is considering a career in computing. In the time that we talked the son through various options and offered advice I finished the collar on Mr hazelh's new jumper.  All I need to do now is sew on the sleeves and stitch up the seams. Then Mr hazelh will be able to model the garment (no doubt to be blipped in a journal near you some day soon.)

I haven't exercised today, but Mr hazelh took part in the World Rowing Indoor Sprints Championship. At the time that he recorded his time he was the 9th best man aged 50-59, and 82nd placed rower overall, in the heavyweight category.
