No glug jug purchases today

We always have a fine time when in the company of ClarissaFox and Mr Fox, and today was no exception.

We started with a drive out to South Queensferry for brunch at Orocco Pier followed by hunting for sea glass on the shore of the River Forth. Then it was back home again for a cooking fest interspersed with lots of chat and another game of Settlers of Catan (which I won - ha!)

In the evening Katharine, Jack, Jon and Luisa joined us for dinner. With drinks we had Mr hazelh's home made pesto and tomato brushetta. At the table we worked our way through cheese and prawn ramekins with hot buttered toast soldiers (1st course), redcurrant slow roast lamb (nut roast for the veggie) with sweet potato mash, steamed broccoli, beetroot in red wine and raspberry vinegar, and roast potatoes (main course), and lemon meringue pie (Mr hazelh's pastry was divine!) (pudding). Then it was back into the sitting room for cheese and chocolates. We ended the evening with some silliness in the kitchen which could be described (by kind people) as dancing.

My blip was taken by ClarissaFox through the window of Sea Kist antique shop in South Queensferry. The shop was shut so no purchases were made.

Exercise today: minimal walking (4639 steps)
