The weather looked perfect and so S and I went to The Roaches and did a couple of climbs on Hen Cloud (The Arête, and Ancient, both VD).  It was a bit nerve-racking because neither of us had climbed on rock since last October and indoor climbing walls are nothing like the real thing, but it was done without mishap... although also without much grace and poise, which is the opposite to how I always imagine myself climbing before I actually begin!

I've back-blipped yesterday.
This is the last time we were at The Roaches.

p.s. to self - I need to buy a larger rucksack for climbing as 36 litres isn't quite big enough and I hate having to jam everything in.
