Venetian Vibe

What an amazing and jam-packed few days! We zoomed over to Bristol to see the sons and it's been all go.
We:
* had a most delicious early birthday meal for Himself in an Italian place, unfortunately joined by 89 raucous rugby players not at their best
* visited my elderly but very spritely uncle in Glastonbury and soaked up the energies, including visiting the goddess room where she appeared to be knitting
* nipped up GlastonburyTor, astonishing - and watched a farmer way below training his bouncy dog to herd sheep
* mooched around Wells and caught a fantastic golden light - how I'd like to live in a house with a moat, this was where the Bishop lived
* marvelled at the entries for Wildlife Photographer of the Year in the M Shed
* walked miles and miles around Briz and admired just about everything - the architecture is sensational
* visited son#2's girlfriends shop and I bought a vest with a shark on it
* visited son#1's very bijou houseboat and I felt seasick
* romped with Pig Dog in the very beautiful green spaces around Ashton Court
* watched two movies when we could walk no longer ( Hail Caesar (not funny enough and no plot) and Anomolisa (really strange!))
* did a lot of people watching in the Watershed - fascinating
* and even managed two blipmeets - a coffee with Serpent in her wonderful highrise garden and a more coffee with Greg and Cathy; great to meet them
Now home and an early night will be taken!
Backblips:
Colours in Clifton
Abstraction in Briz
Energies up the Tor!
Golden in Wells

And I'm not really cheating - this is me overlooking a bridge near where we were staying and the wobbly reflections were a derelict warehouse so I hope this will do for the Derelict Sunday challenge. It has a Venetian vibe I thought. Hope Rainie  will let me off!
