Beavertail Buds

It's almost that time of year.  I expect this beavertail cactus to bloom any day now. From the looks of it, there are going to be a lot of flowers on it, but unfortunately virtually at the same time.  This particular cactus is the first bloomer in my yard.  It rarely grows new buds beyond these initial ones, but it looks like it's going to be a lot more productive than last year's two flowers!

Still not getting out much further than my patio.
