As soon as I walked into the cafe at lunchtime, the barista knew I'd be taking my coffee away to sit and drink it on the pier.

They know me pretty well in there.

A cool wind out of the east, but very pleasant for 20 minutes. That's all I had. A busy day at my desk and at a client's conference in Edinburgh tomorrow.

The harbour rats are starting the annual scraping, washing & painting of the boats - 3 of them at work on the keel of the one in front of me. You can just about see them in the extra.
