Snowfall

Up early to show a good friend the beautiful waterfalls near Ystradfelte in the Brecon Beacons National Park.  It’s great to be able to introduce people to a place I really love, and I hope my enthusiasm and knowledge of the park comes through when I walk with people.  It was a beautiful day, and as we got towards lunchtime it started to warm up quite nicely.  The sun was sparkling over the water.

What you’re looking at in this blip is Sgwd yr Eira from behind, yes this waterfall you can actually walk behind.  And it’s drier behind it, than it is in front of it.  Sgwd yr Eira in English means the Snow Waterfall, you can see why from this blip.

Game two at the new Ice Arena Wales and the Cardiff Devils beat the Belfast Giants 4-3 in overtime.  We were 2-0 down but came back to lead, before letting in a soft goal.  You should have heard the cheer when that winning overtime goal went in, off the scale!
