Picking up the pies

On the day before Thanksgiving, it is our tradition to drive out into the country to Patterson's Fruit Farm. They have a terrific bakery, and we order our holiday pies from them...not being a pie baker myself. Today, although there was no snow on the ground at our house, three or four inches coated the ground at the fruit farm. Because they are about 10 miles south of Lake Erie and the elevation is higher, it was still snowing as Bob (far right) waited in line for our pies. Thankfully we didn't have to stand outside as we waited.
