Kaikoura

We came to see seals basking on the rocks, but after rain all night and morning the temperature had dropped more than 20 degrees into single figures, so we had sheltering gulls instead! The locals were delighted to see some rain but not very happy about the drop in temperature! It is considerably warmer this afternoon at 13 degrees!
Despite grey sky the sea was beautiful.
