Get the pip

For my seed series on A Year with My Camera I cut a gravenstein apple that had been given to me after the hail storm some months back. Looks perfect and has kept well but see the extra. Not export quality with holes like those.
We have had very welcome rain so indoors most of the day although we did venture out to the movies. "Mahana" a NZ film set in the 1950's. Hard hitting and a reminder of how far we have come in some ways and not in others.
Second extra is the macro reveal. In my clean up of cupboards last week I found a plastic Bayleys Irish Cream ice cube key ring. I sat it in a nip glass in the cubbyhole studio against crinkled paper. Those that said ice cube were so close. Well done to you and don't get the pip.
