Answer.......

Yesterdays "Mystery Macro" is shown much clearer today, it is a tuning pin for a piano.

The Pin Block holds the piano in tune by way of different tensions on the strings of each tuning pin. The strings vary in thickness depending on the pitch of the note, thicker for bass and thinner for higher notes. The red/pink is the felt which runs along the top of the piano and the bokeh are all the other tuning pins.

It was a tough one......but.......Congratulations go to MReid who managed to guess this 'Mystery Macro' - Fantastic!!

Thanks to everyone who had a guess, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your thoughts and appreciate the stars.

There'll be no more piano shots for a while as the area is quite confined and getting the torch set in the right place is a bit of a mission. Then come all the blurry shots as I sort out camera settings and before you know it a good couple of hours has passed by :)

Good steady rain fell last night and for most of the day but boy has the temperature dropped, 13C - brrrr!

Happy Wednesday everyone :)
