View to the Castle

It was, shall we say, kind of windy on top of Blackford Hill this afternoon. The dog needed out and we had noisy visitors descend on us so some solitude up the hill was perfect this afternoon. Got wet with the passing showers but it was preferable to the alternative and the dog enjoyed it if nothing else! This was taken just short of the trig point on the west side of the hill, still one of the best views in Edinburgh.
