Terracotta Warriors

Unsurprisingly, the Terracotta Warriors were absolutely amazing. It's almost impossible to fathom the creative genius needed to produce these figures over 2000 years ago. The expressions on the faces and the detail of the uniforms and armory is simply exquisite, and in such a huge scale!

Today has been magical! I love being humbled by history.

The less said about the sleeper train the better. I expect to sleep really, REALLY well this evening before repeating the ordeal adventure all over again tomorrow evening! I'm beginning to think that rice wine is the solution...
