Spot the dog

A grey morning turned into a beautiful sunny day. However the wind is still bitterly cold.

Decided on an afternoon walk in Oakwell Country Park.
They have planted a lot more bulbs, and it was lovely to see them all in flower.
I wonder if you can spot the little dog?
He was busy sniffing around among the daffodils.
The birds were singing their hearts out. They at least think that Spring has sprung!

We had a very good wine tasting on Monday evening. Enjoyed all the wines from Jackson Estate, New Zealand, and guess who won the raffle!
MrC.
A bottle of Pinot Noir. Called Gum Emperor. It is named after a moth found in the gum trees on the estate.
I am not a huge pinot noir fan , as I find them a bit weak.but really enjoyed this one. Full of fruit flavour, with some depth to it.
Will save it to share with our friends later.

PS. Eldest grandson has just brought us a piece of walnut cake he baked yesterday.
For a first attempt it was 10 out of 10.
He says he is now going to do some more baking. Rather enjoyed it!
