Social, not Solitary

When the cloud clears the Dolomites are such spectacular mountains and it's a real joy to be among them. Alpine skiing is a real mixture - it takes you to such lovely places but you are usually there with a lot of other people.
Fortunately I am a fairly social creature so much as I enjoy solitary experiences at sea or in the mountains I also enjoy sharing the ski slopes with others, though preferably not too many others.
Today the sun was shining in rather longer bursts than previously and we followed a series of lifts and ski runs around the Selva Mountain. Together with a few side tours we clocked up 60 km which seemed a good distance to have travelled on skis, albeit with some help from the ski lifts.
A backblip from last week. Today's blip (16 March) is here.
