Brazil up in arms

Figuratively speaking – but the wave of indignation is so great, who knows what may happen tomorrow? No-one outside the Workers’ Party and its supporters can quite believe the effrontery of our self-denominated ‘Presidenta’ (there is no feminine form of the word Presidente) and ex-President Lula, or their shameless disrespect for the rule of law, intelligence of the people and due democratic process.
 
Enough said for tonight. The protests taking place all across the country, on a week night, after a day of extremely heavy rain in Rio and elsewhere, are eloquent enough.
