Bizzy bizzy day

We both woke fairly early, well for us in any case ;-) A beautiful bright day, blue skies and sunshine.

After breakfast we took a drive to a garden centre, to collect some slippers that we were exchanging for hub. We browsed a while, bought 4 new plants, including a white dicentra. We took a slight detour as I wanted to see if there were any lambs out in the surrounding fields, not a single sheep, let alone a lamb :-( . We then popped into another garden nursery, where we tend to get most of our summer bedding from, bought more new primulas and a Helenium. We plan to widen the border in the front garden, when we get a mo!!

We then called into Sainsburys for our main shopping.....before going home, I put the shopping away. Hub sorted out the plants.

After lunch we spent the afternoon planting, trimming, weeding etc. etc. all the plants we bought are in the ground.

The big bumble bees were out in force......as much as I am not scared of them, their deep buzzing does make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end, especially when they are really close by ;-)

This one is only a small bee, and a very sleepy one at that, it was still lazing in this white crocus a couple of hours after I took this shot.

Solo Quizzing tonight, so don't hold your breathe :-0

I hope you've all seen and completed the survey in Blip Centrals recent post, if not, see here https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2156724484759880280
