Heading this way

An email from Camera shop 2 tells me that my order is en route - Hurrah!

I cannot now remember but to the best of my recollection I never saw these chimney cowls before moving to Greece. They rotate in the wind ensuring that a draft never blows back down the chimney, and, naturally, show which way the wind is blowing, though unlike a weather vane, they point in the direction that the wind is blowing to, not from. Most are plain/rectangular and we tend to refer to them as nuns, but one or two are beautifully bird-shaped. I expect they frighten small birds too.
