Desirable beachside residence

When little weatherboarded former fishermens huts overlooking the sea in Whitstable cost about half a million and more, this little shack remains derelict and undeveloped. It has been here for years and I wonder why a builder hasnt snapped it up. Obviously there is a reason why it is unwanted.

Our day out in Whitstable included a bracing walk from the Tankerton slopes along the sea to Whitstable. It was very grey with low cloud which was not conducive to seascape photos.

After lunch we browsed the interesting independent shops, and watched a sculptor modelling the head of her sitter in clay. She said it would take about four days and then would be cast in bronze.
