Toulon

A memorable day today in the south of France. We flew to Toulon this morning to drive the new DS3 Performance, a charismatic 'hot' hatchback that is really good fun. A 16 km section of public road, where the annual Rallye du Var is staged, was closed for us to enjoy some fast driving without any worry about something coming the other way on the long series of blind bends. How very French!
Then in the late afternoon we returned to Toulon for the flight home. This view was just as the sun was dipping low behind the palm trees fringing the Mediterranean.
