Purple Tiger

My son loves chilli and grows quite a few unusual ones. This is a Purple Tiger which is apparently very very hot.

Didn't notice at the time as this is quite a small flower but there is a bug lurking inside the flower getting some hot stuff! ;o)

In my extra you will see that finally today we have had a very small amount of rain! Only 1.2 millimetres, hardly worth talking about really but I did have to put the windscreen wipers on as the big fat drops fell and I got J to quickly take the shot before it all evaporated! :o). We haven't had any rain for months so this was exciting!!
