Rough Seas

Blipmate and I were at a Genetic Genealogy, all day workshop in Nelson today. We took our cameras and on the way home made a quick stop at Rabbit Island to look for a Blip.

Even though it was a fine day and low tide, the waves were crashing in, fast and furious. The weather must have been  quite disturbed out to sea. There was a backdrop of a constant roar from the waves breaking.

It was quite exhilarating to watch and so different to the usual quiet waters of Tasman Bay.
