Post match tradition

Refereeing today instead of observing referees. Very enjoyable despite the one sided nature of the game, the away side won 0-68.

Post match celebrations included this traditional drinking contest, with the player of the match from both sides required to stand on a chair and drink their pint before the opposition.

It's always dangerous being a player at these times as you never know if you'll be up there as well. The other two were called up as it was one player's birthday so he had to perform and so the opposition were required to provide another player to balance the numbers. Bad luck on that individual.

Good to see these sorts of antics happening, the fun side of rugby needs to be maintained at our level of the game.

Really great to see England win in France to clinch the Grand Slam, Six Nations Championship and the Triple Crown so soon after the debacle of the World Cup. I hope they can continue to improve and become a force in world rugby as they were at the turn of the millennium.
