Vodka jellies

The big event today was Wiebke's 40th birthday party. There were about 35 guests there in total, and we all contributed food and drink to the celebration. Mr hazelh made a quiche and cheese and lentil wedges, and I prepared a batch of cocktail sausages in mustard seed marinade. These vodka jellies were delicious, although I have no idea who made them.They were made by Wiebke's ex-husband.

Earlier in the day Darcie, Keith and Baby J popped over for tea, scones and Tunnock teacakes. Keith stayed a bit longer to be inducted into the current obsession in this house: a game of Settlers of Catan. I won, with Katherina (the Russian Party Princess) coming a close second.

Exercise today: a little walking (4,591 steps).
