Went for a relaxing walk round the Estate on a beautiful day. The distant views were hazy but the house and bridge (extra) looked good in the sun. Still playing with the new camera, with mixed results: best is second extra.

Spent the evening trucking Miss L to a rehearsal in town, then picking up my parents to take them to a benefit concert which was quite good, but rather too long. However, L sang well and I had my first opportunity to hear her teacher [a professional opera singer] singing an aria from Tosca.
